The wreck believed to be the Resolution, 1703, discovered.
The first discoveries and underwater photographs of the recently discovered historic wreck in Normans Bay, off Pevensey, thought to be the British warship Resolution, wrecked in 1703, have gone on exhibition at the Shipwreck and Coastal Heritage Centre in Hastings. WRECK OF THE \"AMSTERDAM\" WALK
A guided tour of the wreck of the Amsterdam (1749), the 4000 years old prehistoric forest, & the Cretaceous dinosaur age rocks, will take place on the low tide of Sunday 12 August, 2007, 5.30-7.00pm.
